My journey in hairdressing began in Burton-on-Trent, where I fell in love with the creativity and connection the industry offers. Early on, I realized that this wasn’t just a job for me—it was a career I wanted to dedicate myself to fully. I poured my energy into learning everything I could, honing my technical skills and building strong relationships with my clients. My drive to improve and expand my expertise became evident in these early years, as I sought out every opportunity to grow.
Advancing in Nottingham’s Creative Scene
With a thirst for more knowledge and creative expression, I moved to Nottingham to join a highly innovative and inspiring team. Immersing myself in the editorial side of hairdressing, I gained invaluable experience creating cutting-edge styles and pushing the boundaries of my craft. This chapter allowed me to work on high-profile projects, compete in prestigious competitions, and develop my artistic voice.
Winning Awards and Taking the Stage
My passion and hard work led to incredible achievements, including winning the TrendVision Regional and National Awards, being named Eastern Hairdresser of the Year, and becoming a multiple-time finalist in some of the industry’s top competitions. These accomplishments opened the door to judging these prestigious awards, sharing my expertise with others, and performing live hair shows in front of hundreds, which was both exhilarating and humbling.
Launching My Luxury Salon
After taking a short reset to welcome my beautiful baby girl into the world, I have now realized a lifelong dream by launching my very own luxury hair salon. This space is unlike any other, designed to provide a serene, elevated experience that reflects my years of expertise and my passion for customer care. It’s the culmination of my journey so far—a blend of artistry, innovation, and personal connection that defines everything I do.
